Starting January With A Bang

Ok , so, I quited my job of the 1st this month when i sent in my resignation letter by email, not really a big lost since I wasn't really happy there , but I had to make sure I don't go jobless so i decided to apply for another job before I leave
And whoa ho, somehow , this other job has been looking for people to hire, so i decided to apply
but I forgot to leave my mobile behind so when they called my house , all they got was my dad
and ahhhh, I forgot to tell my dad that I quited my job an I'm looking for a new one
and my dad thought they were "flower sellers"(florists) saying that i applied for a job there
naturally he told them ,"my son already has a job, he's not looking for any right now"
and the lady looking for me tore up my application form

Thankfully I found out in time and I called them up repeatly and in the end they gave my another chance, so I'm suppose to go for the interview tomorrow, hopefully its sucessful, I would hate to leave my current job without a job in hand

Meanwhile , for my current job, one of my customers has just found out that his glasses don't fit his face, and there's really nothing that can be done for him by adjustment alone ,he's pretty resigned to getting a pair of glasses he wouldn't be wearing
so i'm off tomorrow, but I'll switch the nose bridge (manager's idea)once I get back on friday, hopefully that will work for him, if not I'm prepared to pay out of my own pocket to give him a new pair if my manager won't let him change his frame
